Subject	Gotta question about rear "fender"

Message	Well, someone decided to back into my car a couple nights ago, seemingly a big truck or suv with a grill guard... I found it after coming out of the movie store... Shit happened withing 10 mintues. Came out, seen the damage. No note, no nothing. Asked around, nobody saw/ heard anything. Video store doesn't have their surveilance cams turned on outside during store hours FIGURES. So my question is this, the damage is to the rear drivers fender. It's about the size of what a fist would make it you could punch the car hard enough to get it to dent in... This part of the fender is metal. BUT the rear fender goes all the way from under the driver's door, around to the rear drivers quarter panel, around the rear bumper, the passenger quarter panel, and down under the passenger door... Is this all 1 piece? What's the best way to get it fixed? Crappy bondo job? Or is it feasbale to purchase the whole damn part and have it painted?
